TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General Rental Terms & Conditions

The vehicle is delivered to the renter in good overall condition and without apparent defects. Any complaints as to its condition must be made to Dynamite Bikes and Cars immediately upon delivery. The renter agrees to return it with all accessories and in the same condition at the location, time, and date designated in that Agreement, otherwise the renter will be responsible to compensate Dynamite Bikes and Cars in addition to the normal rental charge.

Dynamite Bikes and Cars reserves the right to take back the vehicle at any time without demand at the renter’s expense, if the vehicle is used in violation of this agreement. The renter is expected to keep an eye on the vehicle’s mechanical condition, oil, water, tires, etc., and contact Dynamite Bikes and Cars immediately in case of any incident. Any repair of the vehicle by the renter or any other party is not allowed. The vehicle must not be used:

1. To drive on non-asphalted roads.
2. To carry persons or property for hire.
3. To tow any vehicle, trailer, or other object.
4. In a race, test, or rally contest, off-road or on the beach.
5. For subleasing by the renter to any other party.
6. While the renter or any other authorized driver is under the influence of alcohol, medication, drugs, barbiturates, etc.
7. In contravention of any customs, traffic, or other regulations.
8. By any other person not authorized by Dynamite Bikes and Cars.
9. To transfer or carry heavy luggage, inflammable materials, bad-smelling goods, narcotics, animals, etc.
10. To leave the island of Zakynthos.

The cancellation of your booking is free of charge as long as we are informed about it before delivery. A cancellation upon delivery from the renter’s side will be charged with the full rental rate. In case the booking has to be canceled upon delivery because the renter does not fulfill the requested rental conditions or cannot provide the requested documents, the full rental charge will be applied.

The rental contract issued in the renter’s name must be carried by the renter at all times while driving the vehicle.

It is strictly forbidden for the driver and passengers to sit in the car unclothed.

Dynamite Bikes and Cars reserves the right to refuse to rent out a vehicle to a person who is considered unfit to drive or does not meet driving requirements.

2. Insurances

Dynamite Bikes and Cars provides full insurance coverage with no excess in case of damage caused by accident or loss to the car, including tires, underside, glass, and mirrors, only when the car is driven by the renter/drivers indicated on the rental agreement, and none else, in accordance with an automobile third-party liability insurance policy (excluding categories G, G1, H).

A full insurance without excess for drivers older than 70 years is not available.

Luggage insurance is not available and the renter is responsible for any loss of property belonging to the passengers.

The insurance does not cover damages caused by:

1. Violation of Greek Traffic Law, e.g., passing a red traffic light or stop sign.
2. Negligence.
3. Driving on unpaved or freshly paved roads or on the beach.
4. Misfuelling.
5. More than one damage caused by an accident per rental.

Not insured are:

1. Any damage or soiling to the interior of the car (incl. multimedia system, USB/12V plugs).
2. Lost or broken car keys, damaged, lost, or heavily soiled child seats.
3. Damage to the clutch caused by the driver’s negligence.
4. Any kind of vandalism or negligence inside or outside our vehicles.

In case of an accident, any damage to the car, technical problem, or any other incident (fire, theft, etc.), the renter is responsible for immediately following the insurance procedures set:

1. Contact Dynamite Bikes and Cars immediately.
2. Take and send pictures.
3. Do not leave the scene; follow the given instructions.
4. Obtain names and addresses of eyewitnesses.
5. Do not acknowledge third-party claims.
6. Complete and sign an accident report.

Any damages or technical incidents to the car that are not reported during the rental period but at the end of the rental period/drop-off are not covered by the insurance. In case of a violation of these terms, the renter is fully responsible for all resulting costs and will be charged for all deficits the company Dynamite Bikes and Cars may have because of this.

The renter is obliged to comply with the road traffic regulations valid in Greece. Carrying safety belts applies to their own responsibility. Every expense that appears from disregard of the road traffic regulations is at the renter’s expense.

3. Payment – Deposit

The renter pays the full rental charge in advance at delivery to Dynamite Bikes and Cars.
The rental charge includes local taxes and extra costs, which are noted on the contract. Payment takes place upon delivery. Accepted payment methods include € cash and all major credit/debit/prepaid cards without any extra charge. Not accepted are: someone else’s card, cheques, or any virtual payment method (e.g., Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.).

In case of any damage in violation of these terms, the renter is fully responsible for all costs and will be charged for all deficits the company Dynamite Bikes and Cars may have because of this. Any insurance will be invalid.

Dynamite Bikes and Cars reserves the right to withhold a guarantee in the form of a credit card (Euro cash or debit card only on request), which will be returned to the renter after the rental period ends.

The amount for the guarantee depends on the car category and will be announced before final booking confirmation.

4. Documents

When picking up your rental vehicle, please provide your valid driver’s license and either ID or passport. Only original documents will be accepted. Digital documents (e.g., on cell phones), copies, or loss certificates are not accepted. The vehicle will not be handed over in this case.

5. Miscellaneous

The renter or their representative acknowledges that they acquire no rights other than stated in this agreement.

All “Terms and Conditions” are explicitly written in our company’s car rental agreement. We reserve the right to change the above “Terms and Conditions” without notice.

By booking online and signing the rental agreement, the renter accepts and confirms these conditions, which they have read and understood in English.

All additional authorized drivers are jointly and severally liable with the renter under this agreement.
This agreement nullifies any other written or verbal agreement between Dynamite Bikes and Cars and the renter.
Any and all disputes that may arise between Dynamite Bikes and Cars and the renter will be settled before the competent courts of Greece.
